Jeanine Ohene-Agyei

I am an MS student in Computer Science at UC Davis, advised by Prof. Iman Soltani at the Laboratory for AI, Robotics, and Automation (LARA). I received my Honours Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Toronto in 2025, graduating with Distinction.

My research sits at the intersection of SLAM, spatial registration/reconstruction tasks, and mobile robotics. I develop machine learning methods for reconstructing and registering structure from sensor data. I’m interested in developing machine learning methods for spatial registration and reconstruction from noisy, partial sensor data, as well as in mobile robotics problems like obstacle avoidance and path planning for autonomous navigation.
